Brazil are not a team: Pele

Football News: Brazilian legend believes that this Brazilian generation can win this year’s world cup at Russia, but also, on the other hand, he has warned Neymar that he cannot win it on his own.

Pele believes Brazil is not playing as a team.

Three times world champions Pele believes Brazil can replicate the success of former teams, but also he highlighted the weaknesses that will prevent them from winning.

In the qualifying rounds, Brazil showed an impressive form, where they won 12 matches out of their 18 matches, scored 41 goals in 18 matches, and conceded just 11.

Pele won the silverware three times in his career, and he believes in this Brazil team, in part to their head coach.

Pele voiced: “I’ve great confidence in the abilities of Tite,”

“I’ve only got one concern: there are only a few days before the beginning of the World Cup and we still don’t have a good team. Individually, all the players are very good. But we are not a team.”

Neymar is back in the action for his country, he played his part for his country in their friendly match against Croatia, and in that match, he has made his comeback strongly.

According to the Brazilian legend Pele, Neymar cannot win the trophy by his own.

Pele stated: “Today, he’s matured and has more experience, but he’s not going to win the World Cup alone,”

“It’s teams who win the World Cup.”

Brazil will kick-start their world cup quest on 17th June against Switzerland.
