In the absence of Real Madrid’s star forwards Cristiano Ronaldo and Bale, the France man stepped up to the challenge at Eibar, as Benzema took advantage of a defensive error to score the game's first goal at Ipurua, which was his sixth goal in La liga this season and quickly following it up with his seventh.
As the 29-year-old Real Madrid forward has scored two beautiful goals for Real Madrid against Eibar on Saturday, which was his 6th and 7th La liga goals this season after a run of seven league games without a goal, dating back to his effort in the 5-0 win against Granada on Jan. 7.
Even though the France man is suffering in La liga this season, but his form in the Champions League has been much better. His goal in the recent win against Napoli took his tally to five goals in just six starts.
Before Saturday's trip to Eibar, meanwhile, he'd managed just five goals in 19 league appearances.
