The Spanish international and ATLETICO MADRID’s defender Juan Francisco Torres Belén, known as Juanfran is confident that they will beat REAL MADRID in Madrid Derby.
After Atletico Madrid surprisingly beaten 2-0 by Sociedad on Saturday, Diego Simeone's title challenge suffered a major blow, but the defender says Atletico Madrid now has enough time to plan and train hard for their crucial clash against los Blancos.
The 31-years-old is a product if Real Madrid youth Academy, who joined the Atletico Madrid in 2011 and became the important part behind Atletico Madrid’s success as Juanfran has appeared 181 times for the Atletico Madrid with three goals.
And Juanfran believes that they will defeat their rival club Real Madrid in the coming Derby and he also believes that after surprisingly beaten 2-0 by Sociedad on Saturday, Atletico Madrid will come back strong as they have enough time to plan and train hard for their crucial clash against los Blancos.

As Juanfran said,
"Atletico Madrid now have more time to plan ahead for this important game,"
"We approach it with our heads held high and I'm sure that at home we'll win."
As for the result and performance itself "There are no excuses.”
Juanfran has also spoken about the Saturday’s lost against Real Sociedad and also admitted that Real [Sociedad] were better than them, but now it’s time to look forward to the Madrid Derby.
"We were aware of the potential that Real [Sociedad] had and they played a good game.
"They were better than us and we must congratulate them. Now we need to think ahead to the next game."
