While, the Paris Saint-Germain star Marco Verratti is looking forward to testing himself against the Spanish giant FC Barcelona in the Champions League battle on 15TH Feb. Wednesday, but he also believes that Barcelona would be difficult to turn down.
As according to the Italy international who has already made more than 100 appearances for the France giant Paris Saint-Germain with scoring more than five goals since 2012, the Spanish champions FC Barcelona are still the best team in the world with three best forwards in the world and the magician Iniesta.
As in an interview with AS, Verratti said,
"Even though I am currently in a good project and I feel at home, any player would play for Barcelona,"
"They are still the best team in the world. They have the three best players in attack, and [Andres] Iniesta too. Iniesta, [Lionel] Messi and Neymar create a move in a second."
The 24-year-old Italy international and PSG’s playmaker Marco Verratti also added that he was flattered to have been compared to former Barcelona playmaker and Spain international Xavi in terms of his ability to dictate play from the centre of the pitch.
Marco Verratti added,
"It is a pleasure to be compared to a player like Xavi,"
"That a team like Barcelona thinks of you is a source of pride and forces you to work harder.
"It is a great squad but I think of the present, not the future."
