ANCELOTTI SAYS: ROBBEN MUST SETTLE FOR BENCH ROLE

The Dutchman made a goal scoring return for the Bayern Munich against Hertha Berlin, but the manager will not risk him for the start.

The Italian says that Arjen Robben must settle for a substitutes’ role for Bayern Munich as he is under his recovery.

The Veteran scored a brilliant third goal for Bayern Munich on Wednesday against Hertha Berlin,

Robben told that he is keen to start the match, but also he was “sensible” with the involvement in the team, to avoid the groin injury that kept him out of the field since March.

The Italian tries to rotate his players in the match against Hamburg, and he is thinking put him on a substitute bench.

"I spoke to Robben, he'll be on the bench for the time being," the Italian told reporters.

"He'll play in the second half. [Manuel] Neuer, [Mats] Hummels and [Robert] Lewandowski will play against Hamburg.

"I will rotate things tomorrow – I'll decide on the line-up after training. Rotations are important, from a physical and mental perspective."

Bayern have started weal in this season under Ancelotti, winning all the seven matches, so far they netted 26 goals and conceded only 1 goal.

"Hamburg will try to defend well and hurt us on the counter tomorrow. We need to be prepared for that," he said.

"I'm sure it will be a difficult one for us. We want to start as we did against Hertha."
