The Arsenal FC’s manager Arsene Wenger has recently confirmed that the Chilean international and Arsenal’s centre forward Alexis Sanchez is ready and fit for the Manchester United clash.

 

The Chilean international was in doubt after picking up a calf problem in training and was forced to miss Chile's World Cup qualifier with Colombia, but eased concerns over his fitness by returning to start the international game with Uruguay.

And according to the Wenger statement, the Arsenal attacker has told him after 84 min. that he is fit for Saturday's game with the Red Devils.

Arsenal will visit Old Trafford to face Manchester United on Saturday, with Sanchez due to rejoin club training on Friday after flying back to London from South America. 

FOOTBALL MATCH:

Arsenal are waiting to see Alexis before making a final judgement on his fitness, but club revealed that the Chilean forward himself believes he is ready to go.

As Arsene Wenger stated in his pre-match press conference,

"We were in doubt before the game, 24 hours before the game against Uruguay," 

"We didn't know if he would be playing or not but in the end they decided to play him.”

"He text us back to say that he was in good shape, after 84 minutes, and then we have to wait and see tomorrow morning, and see if he can be involved in the squad or not." Wenger concluded.
