Saturday Mumbai City FC drew their math against Delhi Dynamos in their last league match of this season, and the match ended as a draw any of the team is not able to score a goal and the thus the Mumbai City FC  again earn a Clean sheet, and it was their eight clean sheet in this season so far.

This season under Guimaraes the Mumbai City FC finished their group stag journey at the zenith of the ISL table and the head coach is delighted how his boys performed this season so far.

The Mumbai City head coach added:

''I think today we accomplished one of our goals. As we started our tournament, we knew we had the chance not only to qualify but also to get the first spot on the table. We were always in the top four. We have been stable during the season. Our style of game allows us to be on the top,''

''I am proud of everyone at Mumbai City FC. They have done a fantastic job.

"We played fantastic football and scored fantastic goals. We also earned the record of eight clean sheets. So, I am really proud,''

The former r Al Wasl Head coach is satisfied his team performance though they earn only one point from the three matches, and the head coach is believes that his team’s performance in the league stages help him to retain their performance in the Upcoming matches and they will do better in the semi’s .

The head coach voiced: ''We repeated a good performance today. What is important for us is that, today we got our confidence back on the home pitch and it helps since we are going to end the semi-finals at home. When we came back from Goa, we had three very good games here (at Mumbai). We scored well and did not allow the opponents to score,'

In the last match the coach rested the star man Sunil Chhetri especially because of the Semi’s round the corner.

He added: ''I didn’t want to take risk with players who weren’t fully fit. So I spoke to him (Sunil Chhetri) during the week, and we decided to rest him as he needs to continue his rehab for the first leg of the semi-finals,''
