The special one fears difficult season for the Red Devils

Football News: The Portuguese manager has urged to the Manchester United management to make a move in the transfer market or be left behind in the premier league by the other EPL teams.

Mourinho fears United to struggle in the league.

This season Manchester United linked with players like Harry Maguire and also along with him the Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld but any one of them yet to be added, this season they have added players like Fred, Diogo Dalot and one back up goalkeeper Lee Grant.

On the other side, other EPL clubs like Liverpool signed some quality players in this season and the Champions Manchester City roped in Riyad Maharez from the Foxes in this season who were 19 points clearer last season than United.

Last night United lost their last preseason game against Munich and the special one delivered a pointed warning to the management.

He voiced: "My CEO [Ed Woodward] knows what I want for quite a long time,"

"He knows what I want, I know that he tries to do the best for me and I still have a few days to wait [and see] what is going to happen.

"The other clubs that compete with us are really strong and already have fantastic teams and squads, like Chelsea, Tottenham, Manchester City, or they are investing massively like, for example, Liverpool, that is buying everything and everybody.

"So if we don't make our team better it will be a difficult season for us."

On this Friday United will kick-start their premier league journey against Leicester City.
