According to the latest report the Premier League giant Manchester City has told the Spanish champions FC Barcelona that they are ready to pay £100million to sign Lionel Messi.
The papers claim Man City have actually held talks with Barcelona about Messi.

The 29-year-old Argentine ace and FC Barcelona’s star forward Lionel Messi is yet to agree an extension to his current deal which expires in the summer of 2018 and has been linked with a move away from the La Liga champions FC Barcelona.
While there is uncertainty over Lionel Messi's contract situation at Barcelona, the Premier League giant Manchester City has just offered a huge amount to the Argentine ace Lionel Messi.
According to the previous report Messi could link up with his old boss, Pep Guardiola, at Manchester City and now The Sun claims City have told Barca they "will pay £100 million" to sign him.
And the reports also say that the talks between both clubs executives "were held at the end of last month to determine whether a world-record transfer is possible."
