Bumrah Reveals Mastermind Behind Marsh’s Dismissal

Pacer Jasprit Bumrah is currently the hero of India. His excellent spell of 6/33 in the third day of the MCG Test totally dismantled Australia. As a result the hosts managed to score only 151 in their first innings.

This meant that India got a mammoth lead of 292 runs in the first innings. It has eventually sealed the fate of the match unless rain intervenes the final two days of play.

Among those six wickets of Bumrah, it was the wicket of Shaun Marsh which became the talk of the town. The incident happened in the final delivery of the first session.

The hosts were looking to go unscathed into lunch with Marsh and Travis Head in the middle. Marsh had already faced 60 balls until then and was looking settled. However little did he know what was coming for him.

Bumrah had previously kept all the batsmen on the tenterhooks until then. However in the last ball before lunch, he delivered a classic yorker at an extreme slow pace.

Marsh did’t anticipate that and played all over. The ball hit his pads and he was pinned in front of the woodwork. The umpire had no hesitation and instantly raised his finger.
