The Manchester United striker insists that he is not threatened at all by the arrival of Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United and also believes that the Chilean international was destined to play for the Red Devils.
In their last match against Tottenham, Alexis Sanchez made his debut for the Red Devils in the premier league alongside Lukaku, where both of them failed to live the expectation for the Manchester United, in that match Manchester United suffered a defeat against their counterpart by 2-0 goals.
In the front line United already have players like Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard and Lukaku, and now the arrival of the Chilean international will give the Special one a headache in selection.
After Sanchez’s arrival, he thinks United is much stronger now also he is adamant that the competition for the first team does not worry him as he believes that he offers a good deal for United in the hunt for trophies.
In an interview with Sky Sports Lukakau voiced: "I work hard and do everything to make sure I am in the starting line-up. It is the manager's choice [if I am picked], but he knows what I can do for the team – I score goals and give assists and I think in my short time here I have been important for the team,"
"He [Sanchez] is a Manchester United player – he was destined to play here. He deserves to be on the big stage. It was something he wanted as well.
"He has a lot of experience after playing for Barcelona and Arsenal. I admire the quality he has on the ball, but especially his will to win. People were criticising him for being moody, but he is not like that. He is a just a winner.
"I speak Spanish, so it is easy for me to communicate with him. He speaks good English as well. We always try to make a player feel comfortable, and he feels very comfortable here now. I think we will see the best of him.
Right Now Manchester United is 15 points shorter than their arch-rivals Manchester City in the league race and they will play their next match against Huddersfield Town today,
