Manchester City Collapses may be my Fault: Guardiola

Football News: The Spanish tactician Pep Guardiola understands he must have solved his team's vulnerabilities when it comes to conceding the goals in quick successions.

Guardiola thinks because of his fault his team collapses in many occasions.

Manchester City had the chance to seal the league to their name in their last match against their City rivals Manchester United by taking a 2-0 lead over Manchester United, but from 2-0 win they faced a 3-2 defeat against Manchester United in their home soil.

In the space of  97 seconds Paul Pogba scored twice for United to cancel out Kompany and Gundogan’s goal in the first half, and Smalling scored the winner for United in the 69th minutes from a set piece.

In the Champions league as well Manchester City conceded three goals in the first half, that leaves that 3-0 deficit against the Reds in the second leg.

For explaining this situation he told reporters how Messi torn apart his Bayern Munich side in the first leg of Champions league 2015: "I thought many times about that. I dropped a lot of Champions League games in 10 or 15 minutes and I think about that,"

"Barcelona, 0-0 after 77 minutes; 90, 3-0. It's happened many times,"

"Maybe it is my fault. I have to think about it but I feel that when you dominate and create chances you are closer to winning the games.

"I think this season showed that with the numbers we have done in terms of goals and – when the team is stable – the chances we concede.

"I think we are the best with these type of players. We concede few. But it is impossible when the opponents arrive four times and score three goals. No system can sustain that. It's so complicated."
