Lewandowski is not for Sale: Bayern President

Football News: Bayern Munich president Karl-Heinz Rummenige avouches that the Polish striker is not for sale at any price.

Lewandowski is staying at Munich for the next season.

This season along with Madrid, EPL giants Chelsea were also in the race for the Polish international, new Chelsea manager Sarri has made some enquiry of late for him and also Madrid was there to bucket him as their main man Cristiano Ronaldo left Madrid for the Serie A side Juventus so he can be the ideal man to take the burden of Ronaldo in the frontline for them.

But Bayern Munich president is adamant and he says that the club will not sell him at any cost.

Bayern President voiced: With Robert, we clearly want to send a signal to people within and outside the club: Bayern Munich are completely different to other clubs who get weak when certain sums are mentioned,"

"We are completely satisfied with him, and in his position, there are only a few players who are comparable.

"So it's not in our interest to hand him over – no matter if someone puts €100m or €150m on the table."
