NEET Dress Code 2017

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET, as it is more popularly called, is the biggest exam for medical in the country and almost every student aspiring to fulfil their medical dreams are appearing for this exam. This is happening because since 2016, the government, along with the Supreme Court, had decided to replace all state PMTs with one common entrance exam, that is, NEET. This move was taken with the intention to bring all medical colleges under the purview of one single entrance exam. Following this decision, NEET was held in 2 phases in the previous year but from this year onwards, it will only be held in one single phase. NEET is conducted by the Central Board of School Education (CBSE) which is why the NEET syllabus 2017 is inclusive of the CBSE 11th and 12th syllabi. This is why most students coming from the CBSE background have somewhat of an upper hand over those students coming from different state boards. But, having said this, each and every student has equal stakes in the exam and the syllabus is prepared keeping in mind that these medical aspirants who will be appearing for this exam will come from varied backgrounds and levels. While NEET is not the only exam held for admission into undergraduate medical and dental courses in medical institutes, it is by far the most common and the most appeared. This is one fo the reasons why this exam is so competitive. No matter the number of seats, each student will be competing with lakhs of other students on a pan India level.
