I am leaving Juventus and Serie A: Lichtsteiner

Football News: This season Juventus is on the verge to claim their seventh Serie A title, but their veteran defender is set to leave them.

The Swedish defender is ready to take a new challenge.

The Juventus right back revealed that after the end of this season he will leave the Serie A giants and will join a new league, as he is now ready to take on some new challenges in his life.

On the year of 2011 the Swedish joined Juventus from Lazio, and after that he has won sixth consecutive Serie A trophy with the Old Lady’s and now he is just one step away to win their seventh consecutive title with Juventus following their victory against Bologna.

Now Juventus are seven points clear to the second spot Napoli, and they wil face torino in their next game,

 After their match against Bologna, Lichtsteiner voiced: "These are my last 14 days at Juventus. I need new challenges and motivation.

 

"I have improved in my mentality. I didn't know what it meant to play at Juventus when I arrived, as there is pressure and obsession for the victory," Lichtsteiner – who could add a fifth Coppa Italia crown to his collection when Juve face AC Milan in the final – said in an interview with Sky Sport Italia post-match.

"At Lazio we had to defend in the final third, here in midfield. My future will be outside of Italy. I won't say where yet, as I haven't signed."s
