I AM HONOURED TO EXTEND MY CONTRACT WITH TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR: KYLE WALKER

The England international and Tottenham Hotspur F.C.’s right back Kyle Walker, who has recently signed a new contract with Tottenham until 2021 and says he is honoured to extend his contract with the Spurs.

 

Kyle Walker’s current contract with the Spurs will expire in June 2019 and so the Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur has recently announced the renewal of Walker’s contract until 2021 following recent extensions agreed by Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli, Eric Dier and Danny Rose,

As after completing Kyle Walker’s new contract on Friday, September 23, 2016, the club stated on Twitter that they are delighted that their right-back Kyle Walker has signed a new contract with the Club which will run until 2021.

“NEW CONTRACT: We are delighted to announce that @kylewalker2 has signed a new contract with the Club which will run until 2021. #COYS”

The 26-years-old Kyle Walker is a product of the Sheffield United youth academy and latterly he joined the Hotspurs in 2009 but immediately after joining the Spurs Kyle went out on loan to Sheffield United, Queens Park Rangers and Aston Villa in 2009, 2010 and 2011 respectively, and then he got his permanent place in the Spurs first team, where he has already made 155 appearances with four goals for the Premier League side Tottenham Hotspurs since 2011-12.

And now he signed a new contract with the Spurs until 2021, which made him feel honoured as the England international stated that he is honoured to extend his contract with the club where he has enjoyed so much is his career.

As Walker said to the club website,

“It's a great honour,”

"I want to say a big thanks you to the chairman and the manager for putting their faith in me. It's been a long stay here but a very enjoyable one. I'm fully enjoying it. It's like my second home now and I'm happy to commit my future to Tottenham Hotspur." He concluded.
