Higuain All Set For Loan While Caldara and Bonucci Swap Deal

Two rival clubs of Serie A, in the likes of AC Milan and Juventus, are all set to perform a three player transfer deal before the end of this transfer window.

Football news: The deal will see the Bianconeri welcome back their former star defender

The deal stands at present that Argentinian striker Gonzalo Higuain will move on a loan to AC Milan while Leonardo Bonucci will come back to Juventus and Mattia Caldara will join Milan in a swap deal.

Reports have confirmed that after initial rounds of talks, the agreement has been struck and soon the paperwork will be finalised.

Higuain’s place in Turin has been threatened by the arrival of Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and as a result he will spend the next season on loan in Milan in an €18 million (£16m/$21m) loan switch.

The Argentinian striker can become a permanent member of the Rossoneri squad in the next season as there is a further purchase option of worth €36m (£32m/$42m) in the deal.

The former Real Madrid and Napoli striker is now all set to travel to Milan to undergo his medical on Thursday morning.

Leonardo Bonucci, who has spent just one season in San Siro, is all set to return back to Turin as he struggled to show his best form at Milan.

Caldara, who came to Juventus a month ago from Atalanta, will act as a makeweight in the deal to bring back the Italian defender.

As both the players are valued at €35m (£31m/$40.8m) by their individual clubs, the deal will be a straight swap deal.

Juventus had initially demanded a buyback clause for the 24-year old Caldara, but dropped the demand during the talks with Milan.

Both players are now on the pre-season tour in USA and will move to their respective clubs at the beginning of the Serie A season on August 18.
