In the recent past, the Real Madrid full-back Achraf Hakimi joins the Italian giant’s Inter Milan for €40 million, after ending his two years loan spell with the German giants Borussia  Dortmund.

The Algerian full-back sends an emotional message to the club and to his fans on his social media account.

Hakimi stated:

“I never thought this moment would come. It’s not good-bye because you never say good-bye to your home, you might go far from it but it will always be the place where I found happiness and the values that made me grow.

Real Madrid is my home, I was raised, spoiled and educated there to be the person I am today. Real Madrid is not only about developing athletes. I entered the doors at Valdebebas being a six-year old and definitely I could never imagine how happy I was going to be there.

I want to thank every one of the club workers, my coaches and all my teammates —most of them truly friends— that made this journey alongside me.

Last, I also want to thank the madridistas that supported me and that will keep supporting the club every single time. I will now be one of them.

Thanks a lot Real Madrid!”

Hakimi was among the best young players in the world of football, and his signing will defiantly going to benefit the Serie A club and he has the potential to be the best in his position.

In his two-season loan spell with the German giants he has made total of 73 appearances for the German side and scored 12 goals for them and also has many assists to his name.
