3 Players Sunrisers Hyderabad Should Buy In The 2019 Auction

In the last few years of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Sunrisers Hyderabad has been one of the consistent teams. They were even the winners of the 2016 edition.

The franchise continued impressing in the next seasons as well by qualifying for the playoffs. In the previous season they even got close to the trophy, but eventually lost it to Chennai Super Kings.

The SUN Group owns the IPL franchise team. Although the franchise is known for its bowling attack, they also have a good batting unit as well.

Led by Kiwi skipper Kane Williamson, they released eight players ahead of the 2019 auction. They now have 9.50 crores left in their purse which they can use in the auction which will be held at Jaipur on December 18.

The way their squad is set up, it seems that Sunrisers Hyderabad would prefer local players more than overseas ones.

Here are three players whom SRH should buy in the auction:

1. Manoj Tiwary

The Bengal skipper is one of those Indian players who had a promising start to their international career, but soon disappeared.

He debuted for his country way back in 2008, but has played only 8 ODIs and 3 T20Is so far. In IPL, he has played for many franchises and had performed well for now-defunct Rising Pune Supergiant.

Tiwary can be much like Yusuf Pathan, who can come to the crease and whack the ball from the word go. He can also bat deep and can be handy in the middle-order.

Hyderabad has a attacking top order but lacks depth in the middle. Manoj can be their appropriate investment in the forthcoming auction.
