The English coach of Indian football team was full of praise about the Qatar’s policies on youth development, and he felt India should do like that.

Stephen Constantine believes like Qatar India should try to focus on the development of Youth football for Honing the future stars.

The Blue Tiger’s coach was in Qatar to overlook the India U 23 team in the 2018 AFC U 23 Championship qualifiers, where the Blue Tigers beat the Turkmenistan on Sunday night.

Constantine was full of accolades about the Qatar’s policy and he believes Indian should emulate that in India also and also thinks the kind of expertise Qatar have that can help AIFF.

Indian super league side Delhi Dynamos already has an agreement with the Aspire Academy in Qatar.

Constantine voiced: "“QFA’s policies led to Qatar winning an Asian U19 title and Aspire have been leaders in talent scouting in the Middle East and Africa,"

"Their recent tie-up with Indian Super League club Delhi Dynamos is a step in the right direction. Should it work well, the next step could be for the QFA and AIFF to broaden the scope of the partnership.

"Indian football will welcome any external support from transparent institutions with proven expertise in talent development – the QFA and Aspire will have valuable knowledge to share in the fields of scouting, coach education, youth academy, nutrition and sports medicine."

The Blue Tiger’s coach wants to organize trial in Doha for the team.
