He is always mindful of his appearance and prefers to maintain a chiselled body. The yo-yo test scores of the 29-year-old cricketer in worth envying and he is undoubtedly one of the fittest cricketers in the world.

His chiselled body adds to his flexibility on the ground as a batsman, a fielder as well as the leader. Recently reports have surfaced that Kohli is turned into total vegetarian which has improved his performance to a significant extent.

Moreover Kohli does not miss the previous diet he used to have. Previously he was very much fond of biriyani, but now he does not consume that anymore. Rather his diet includes vegetables, protein shakes and soya.

“Kohli started this diet four months ago and is feeling stronger as his digestive power has increased. He isn’t missing meat, eggs or dairy,” a source was quoted as saying in The Times of India (TOI).

“Two years ago, when he was on a normal diet, he had said that he would go vegan if given a choice. He is now feeling stronger than before,” the source added.

Kohli is currently leading the team against the Windies in the two-match Test series where the first Test has already been won by the host by a margin of an innings and 272 runs.

The encounter was held at SCA Stadium in Rajkot where the skipper scored 139 runs from 230 balls and was the team’s top scorer in the match.
