BENGALURU FC LANDED TWO NEW PLAYERS- ALVARO RUBIO AND JUAN ANTONIO GONZÁLEZ

I- League: Alvaro Rubio and Juan Antonio González landed in Bengaluru FC from Real Valladolid and  Real Madrid Castilla respectively.

 

 

Rubio, the 37-year-old defensive midfielder will sign a four months contract with the Blues, 2016-17 I-League season. The player appeared in 296 games in both Segunda division and La Liga. His past experience might be of great help to his new club.

"I am happy to have signed for Bengaluru FC. We trained with the team today and everyone is very welcoming. The aim is to try and understand the systems as soon as possible and I would like to use my experience to help the team to success", said Rubio on Monday.

 

Juan Antonio González Fernández also known as “Juanan” signed a long-term deal with Bengaluru. The 29-year-old had spend his time in the 'B' teams of La Liga, Real Madrid and Deportivo de La Coruna. After that he spent with Fortuna Dusseldorf for three seasons, one  in the those three seasons was Bundesliga.

 

"I’ve come here to experience something new and I’m confident I will be able to contribute to the team’s success. I’ve left my family back home and that is tough but I’m here to do a job and do it well" said Juanan.
