Star Brazilian player ruled out of the world cup

Football News: Brazil Football Confederation has confirmed that the Brazilian star player has been ruled out from the upcoming world cup.

Alves will be on the spectator seat in the upcoming months.

As per the reports the Brazilian full-back picked up anterior cruciate ligament injury during PSG’s  Coupe de  France final.

The veteran has made 107 appearances for his side till now, but because of his injury now he has to undergo a surgery and that will be ruled him out from the World’s biggest football carnival.

On this Friday Brazilian football team released a statement: "The patient underwent close examination and confirmed the initial diagnosis of anterior cruciate ligament injury, which will require surgical treatment.

"The technical team of the Brazilian National Team wishes Daniel Alves a prompt recovery so that his technique and leadership is back for the Amarelinha as soon as possible."

The 2018 world cup will kick off on 15th June, Brazil will start their world cup campaign against Switzerland on 17th June.
