Flop XI of the Afghanistan Premier League 2018 Tournament

10. Karim Sadiq – Kandahar Knights

The local senior veteran has been part of 24 ODIs and 36 T20Is for Afghanistan which proves that he has enough experience to make it count in a big tournament.

But unfortunately for him and for his team, he picked up only 2 wickets at an economy rate of 8.58 despite having the opportunity to bowl 24 overs all throughout the season.

He has lowest wicket tally in the entire season among players who have bowled at least 15 overs. More than any other player, his skipper Asghar Afghan would be extremely disappointed with his performance.

11. Fareed Ahmad – Kabul Zwanan

Recently he has been making his name in the books of the national selectors and a performance at such an important time will not help him at all.

He was punished all throughout the tournament as he failed to keep the ball at the right places and was not at all consistent with his performance.

In a tournament where the bowlers had a pretty good time than the batsman, Fareed was quite expensive and picked up just 7 wickets from 9 matches at an economy rate of 9.44.
