Arsene Wenger believes that Arsenal supporters have made their peace of losing Alexis Sanchez in this transfer window, saying that the loss of Robin Van Persie o the Red Devils in 2012 hurt Arsenal fans more.

Manchester United News says rightt now Manchester United and Arsenal are negotiating over a potential swap deal between Alexis Sanchez and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Arsenal Wenger already admitted that the deal is close to completion.

In an interview Arsenal manager said: “We took Van Persie when he played in the reserve team at Feyenoord,"

"We made a long work with him. When you get them there and, after they leave, that is the most painful.”

Arsenal Wenger also feels that the arrival of the Armenian international will offset the impact of losing the Chilean star.

He added: “Our fans know Alexis will not extend – they have accepted that idea and the fact it will not be one-way traffic,”

“It will be other-way traffic as well and that makes the whole thing a bit smoother, maybe a bit less disappointing. We lose a player, yes, but we could gain another player. I think one would replace the other.”

The offer that Manchester United made for Sanchez that deal will make him the most expensive player in the premier league, as per the report they are ready to offer him £27 million a year.
