Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma tied the knot on 11 December 2017. The wedding ceremony was held privately in Tuscany, Italy. The couple wanted to keep the wedding a private affair. As a result everything was kept a big secret.
To keep everything secret was a huge task as both were celebrities and had a huge fan-base. However the secrecy was quite interesting and thrilling too as they had to take up lot of hard work. This also included signing the wedding caterers by using fake name.
Unlike the big-fat wedding of Priyanka Chopra- Nick Jonas or Deepika Padukone- Ranveer Singh, the wedding of “Virushka” was kept low-key. The ceremony took place in Borgo Finocchieto. This is a lavish point in Tuscany and was attended by close family members from both sides.
However the arrangements related to the wedding were done elaborately and lavishly. Everything was like typical Indian wedding. As a result there was a welcome lunch, sangeet and engagement on first day.
Mehendi and beautiful bonfire program at night comprised of the second day. However the rains intercepted and instead of bonfire, karaoke was arranged where everyone sang. On the final day, the couple got hitched in a grand style.
