3. Strong combination in the middle order

RCB always had a strong batting order, but most of them batted in the top order. As a result there were multiple instances where the top order failed and the middle order couldn’t handled the pressure and hence collapsed.
This year the franchise has covered this issue as well. They have added the likes of Shimron Hetmyer, Marcus Stoinis, Akshdeep Nath and Shivam Dubey. All these players can add good depth to the batting unit.
While Hetmyer has taken the international cricket by storm, Shivam Dubey has an impressive strike rate of 147.65 in T20 format. Moreover they have Heinrich Klaasen, Himmat Singh, Moeen Ali and Colin de Grandhomme in their lineup.
This proves that RCB have a decent mix of both domestic and international players. As a result this will add variety to the team and will also take off the pressure from Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers.
