2. Shimron Hetmyer

This explosive left-handed batsman is one the young emerging talent from the Windies. Hetmyer hogged the limelight when he led the U19 team to World Cup victory in 2016. After just one year, Hetmyer made his debut for the senior Windies side.
Hetmyer played for Guyana Amazon Warriors in the Caribbean Premier League 2018, which proved to be his breakthrough tournament. He played 12 matches and scored 440 runs in total at an average of 40.00 and strike rate of 148.14.
Hetymer scored 1 century and 2 half-centuries and ended CPL 2018 as third highest run-scorer. The 22-year-old player has played 21 T20Is so far and has scored 517 runs at a healthy strike rate of 142.42.
IPL 2019 will be Hetmyer’s first time in the history of the tournament. RCB would be hoping that Hetmyer proves to be the ex-factor in his debut season. Only time will say if Hetmyer will finally be able to live up to the expectations.
