Left-arm pacers are an asset for any team. This is because they can create such awkward angles which not all batsmen are comfortable with. Moreover along with the inswingers, they can take the ball away too.
As a result the left-arm pacers needn’t have to work on that variations rigorously. Many would think that Khaleel might have missed the World Cup spot by a whisker.
The young pacer did everything right until he toured Australia and New Zealand. However after coming back he returned back to form strongly in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. In his maiden IPL outing this year, he took three wickets.
