Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan had a wonderful start to the ongoing tour against New Zealand. The left-handed batsman has scored two half-centuries out of three matches so far.
So far the Men in Blue have played three of the five scheduled ODIs, and have won all the three matches. In the first two games Dhawan played a huge role with the bat as he scored 75 not out and 66.
In the third match he gave the team a good start, along with Rohit Sharma, and scored 28. The fourth match is scheduled to be played on January 31 in Seddon Park, Hamilton.
Dhawan is always known for his aggressive and stylish batting on the field. But off the field he is very soft and kind. The 33-year-old loves to spend time with his family even when he is playing a gruelling series away from home.
Dhawan’s entire family is touring with him currently in New Zealand. As a result they are often seen in the stands cheering for Shikhar and the entire Men in Blue.
Moreover both Shikhar and his wife Ayesha Dhawan are very much active on social media sites. As a result they often share photos and videos on their official Instagram account. Recently Shikhar posted a funny video with his son Zoravar which is doing the rounds among his fans.
