4 Reasons Of India’s Dominance In 2nd ODI Over NZ

4. India’s spinning duo did it again

Once again the Kiwis failed to read the Indian spinners as they spun a web around them. Kuldeep became the highest wicket-taker, as he got 4 wickets for just 45 runs.

Chahal picked up Colin Munro (31), who was looking settled. He later came back to pick the last wicket of Ferguson. Kedar Jadhav took the important wicket of Ross Taylor. However the dismissal was more about Dhoni’s quick stumping rather than Jadhav’s bowling.

Kuldeep-Chahal duo once again showed how wickets in middle overs can effectively change the game. They were ably supported by pacers Bhui and Shami, who jointly took three wickets. The all-round bowling was also one of the main reasons of India’s dominance in the second game.
