4 Reasons Of India’s Dominance In 2nd ODI Over NZ

3. The Kiwis failed to capitalize on their starts

Most of the Kiwi batsmen lost their wickets after getting settled. Both the openers faced a decent amount of deliveries and even got to double figures. While Guptill went for big one, Munro lost his wicket by playing a completely unorthodox shot.

Skipper Kane Williamson smashed two sixes and a four against Shami, but got out in the very same over. Taylor and Latham got good score and failed to capitalize on it.

As Taylor and Latham form the BlackCaps’ middle order, their dismissals made it impossible for NZ to win the game. Nicholas also got out in the 20s. Only Bracewell scored a fifty in the entire team.
