The Men in Blue are currently in a dreamland. At first they won the historic Test and ODI series against the mighty Aussies. After that they defeated the Kiwis in the ODI series too.
Moreover the fact that all these series were conducted outside home proves that India is in a terrific form right now. They have beaten their opponents in all the three departments. And most importantly they have remained consistent.
Unlike previous times King Kohli’s boys are no longer a ‘weak’ bowling side. This has helped a lot to emerge as a top team. Now the all-important question arises. Will this team be able to win the World Cup 2019 which will begin in July this year? Well the answer remains NO!

1. Crisis in the middle order
One of the major shortcomings of the current Indian team is their middle order lineup. The management has tried many option to solve this problem, but has worked.
This is one of the main reasons when the team loses a game both in home and away conditions. If the top three batsmen departs early, there is no one to score big runs or chase a stiff target.
The recent example of this problem was displayed in the ongoing New Zealand series. In the first three matches, the top-order fired and hence the team had an easy win. But in the fourth match, when they couldn’t play, the team was bundled for a paltry 92 runs.
