The auction for the 2019 Indian Premier League (IPL) is just a few days away. The much-awaited auction will be held on December 18 at Jaipur.

Initially more than 1000 players had registered for the auction. But BCCI has recently released a list of 346 players who will be hoping to land a deal.

These 346 players will fight for the 70 slots remaining in the hands of the eight franchises.

Excitement among the fans

As the date of the auction is inching closer, the excitement among the fans is also increasing. The franchises are also doing their best to keep the fans excited about the upcoming auction.

Recently Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians took to Twitter to organise a poll and ask fans which players to buy.

Now defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have also followed the same path. They took to Twitter and wrote, “Ahoy #WhistlePoduArmy, who’s that one Lion you badly wanna see in #yellove this summer? #WhistlePodu and vote away.”

The fans showed their excitement and voted several players. But most of the votes went in favour of veteran batsman Yuvraj Singh.

Fans have shown their excitement to see Yuvi in CSK’s colours. They have also expressed their desire to see the pairing of Yuvi and MS Dhoni once again.

Here are some of the reactions:

Yuvi’s career at present

Meanwhile Yuvraj is having a hard time in his career at the present moment. The veteran has not played for India since being dropped after the Caribbean tour last year.

Currently he is playing in the Ranji Trophy for Punjab, but has failed there too. In three innings, he has scored just 24, 4 and 9 runs.
