The tall and lanky Delhi-born pacer has been around for quite some time. He rose to fame mainly when he made former Aussie captain, Ricky Ponting, his victim in the India’s tour of Australia a decade ago.
He would hope to replicate those performances mainly because the Aussie team does not have Ponting, Hayden, Gilchrist or even the more recent ones like Clarke, Smith, Watson and Warner, this time around.
The experienced pacer has 250 wickets under his belt, which includes eight 4-wicket hauls, eight 5-wicket hauls and one 10-wicket match. His exploits is well known and he would hope to show them more in a few days from now.
