David Warner and Steve Smith got a wonderful news on April 15. Both of them were selected in the Aussie squad for the upcoming ICC World Cup 2019.
Smith and Warner is currently plying their trade in the ongoing IPL. While Warner plays for Sunrisers Hyderabad, Smith plays for Rajasthan Royals. As both are included in the World Cup squad, they are bound to attend the training camp of Australia.
Cricket Australia has previously said in a statement that the 15-man World Cup squad will have to attend the training camp in Brisbane. They are also scheduled to play three unofficial One-Dayers at the Allan Border Field.

Warner is the current holder of Orange Cap
Meanwhile in the IPL, Warner is in excellent form at the moment. He is consistently scoring runs for his team and has got 400 runs in only eight games at an average of 80. He is currently the holder of Orange Cap and no other batsman is close to him.
On the other hand, Smith has played only one significant knock, but that too in a lost cause against Kolkata Knight Riders. However Smith is Australia’s best batsman across all formats and the selectors won’t ignore him.
It will be interesting to see how Smith and Warner fits in the team. The fans will also be delighted to see the duo make a comeback in the Aussie squad after 12 months. Meanwhile SRH and RR should prepare themselves and make sure that the team doesn’t get affected after the duo leaves.
