The current edition of IPL is already passed the middle stages and is near its end. All the eight teams are still in contention for the top four places. Before the tourney began, there were questions asked regarding its excitement.
This was because of the upcoming World Cup. However despite that the IPL has been successful and the fans have really enjoyed so far. Chennai Super Kings have almost sealed a spot in the playoffs with their win over Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Delhi Capitals are a couple of points away from making it to the safe zone. SRH, Mumbai Indians, Kings XI Punjab and Kolkata Knight Riders are fighting for the last two spots.
Mathematically Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore are still in the race. But they need a big miracle to take them through. However before that the teams are dealt with some pretty bad news.
The English players have already left the tournament while the Australian and South Africans will leave soon. This will definitely leave a huge gap in the tournament. However the Kiwis and the Afghans along with the player who are not selected in the World Cup will be available.
