4. Steve Smith – Rajasthan Royals

Both Smith and Warner came back to mainstream cricket after their one-year ban lifted. Left-handed Warner has been terrific and currently the holder of Orange Cap. But right-handed Smith has struggled in the first week.
Moreover he batted out of his position, mainly in fourth or fifth spot, and couldn’t hit the ball from the word go. He played in two games and scored 48 runs at an average of 24 and strike rate of 104.
5. Shimron Hetmyer – Royal Challengers Bangalore

There were huge expectations on the Windies batsman. Many thought that he would lessen the burden on Kohli and AB de Villiers’ shoulder. However in the first week the opposite happened.
In the three games Hetmyer played, he managed to score just 14 runs at an average of just 5. His strike rate so far in the tournament is 82. In the first game he got run-out without scoring. Later he was promoted as an opener and failed to create an impact there too.
