2. Kamlesh Nagarkoti (Kolkata Knight Riders)
Kamlesh was ruled out the IPL last year also and his maiden IPL cap still waits. The right-arm pacer from Barmer, Rajasthan is known for his raw pace and movement. He was one of the heroes in the U19 World Cup last year.
In the 2018 auction KKR bought him for INR 3.2 crores. Just like Mavi, Kamlesh will miss out because of a back injury. He will be sidelined for two to three months. Kerala medium pacer Sandeep Warrier has been named as his replacement.
Warrier took 8 wickets in 6 games at an economy of 5.8 in the recently concluded Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Moreover he was the leading wicket-taker for Kerala in the last Ranji season.
