5. Karun Nair
He is only the second Indian batsman after Virender Sehwag to score a triple century in Tests. Nair is an excellent stroke-maker who depends on timing rather than power. After playing 68 IPL matches he has scored 1459 runs at an average of over 25.
Nair already has experience of captaining Mysuru Warriors in Karnataka Premier League. Currently Nair plays for Kings XI Punjab in IPL. With age on his side and with the cricketing brain he possesses, Nair will surely be a future captain in IPL.
