The 20-year-old spinner from Afghanistan is one of the best in limited overs cricket. Since making his debut in 2015 at the age of 17, Rashid has emerged one of the best leg spinners. He is currently the most popular from Afghanistan.
In 2017 IPL auction, Rashid was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for INR 4 crore. He was the highest bid among any associate nation player. Since then he has become one of the key players of SRH.
Apart from IPL, Rashid has participated in all other major T20 leagues of the world. If he continues to perform like this, Rashid will surely become the first Afghan player to captain in IPL.
