5 Overseas Players Who Might Go Unsold In the 2019 IPL Auction

5. Mitchell Starc

Starc is one of the most lethal left-arm pacer who has the ability to swing the ball both ways and can also extract a good amount of bounce from the pitch.

The 28-year-old Aussie played for Royal Challengers Bangalore until 2014. He last played in the 2015 season but opted out of the tournament in the next two seasons due to injuries and national commitments.

In the 2018 season, he was purchased by Kolkata Knight Riders for a whooping INR 9.4 crores, but again failed to show up as he suffered a tibial bone stress fracture.

The KKR management has taken a tough call and left him out. Although he is in the auction, he might still opt out in order to prepare himself for the upcoming World Cup.
