4. Mohammed Shami

Shami might be good in Test cricket and is quite decent in ODIs, but he does not boast of a good record in the shorter format of the game.
He leaks runs at an alarming rate and many were surprised when Delhi Daredevils used their Right to Match (RTM) for him in the 2018 auctions and bought him for INR 3 crores.
The Bengal bowler was facing some personal issues and those reflected in his performance in the 2018 edition. He played just four games where he picked just three wickets and gave runs at an economy of over 10.
Later he was sidelined from the playing XI for the rest of the tournament. His IPL record is also not good for any franchise to bid on him, as he has got just 21 wickets from 35 games he has played, which is not at all ideal for a team’s leading pace bowler.
