Since 1999, the ICC World Cup is going to England for the first time. As a result there is a huge buzz for the massive event which is scheduled to begin on May 30.
Although Australia will play as the defending champions, England is the best team since the last World Cup. They have the best win-loss ratio (2.304) since April 2015 with India coming in at second (2.074).
South Africa has also prepared well while New Zealand are once again the dark horses. The form of the Aussies had dropped previously but they have getting back at the right time.
Bangladesh’s rise has been prominent while Afghanistan will play their second World Cup. Pakistan will be an unpredictable side, the Windies sneaked in through qualifiers and the form of Sri Lanka has been worst.
While England and India are the favorites, the other teams can also surprise everyone. Hence this World Cup is going to be a tight affair. Except the Windies and Afghanistan, all the other eight teams have named their 15-man squad.

Rohit Sharma (India)
India’s opener and vice-captain is a great opening batsman in white-ball cricket. Since opening the innings, he has scored many runs. He has three ODI double hundreds under his belt so far. He will look to make his second World Cup big with his batting.
Jonny Bairstow (England)
The English batsman has been excellent in the top order and has given the team some quick starts. Since the end of 2017 Champions Trophy, Bairstow has scored 1428 runs at an average of 51.00 and strike rate of 115.06. Numbers only suggest that he is destructive and can set the stage on fire.
