4. Manish Pandey
In the early years of IPL, Manish Pandey was a very promising player. In fact he became the first Indian to score a century in IPL. Having made his international debut in 2015, Pandey had a good couple of years.
In that period, his average was in the thirties. But a dip in form and injuries led to his exclusion from the ODI team. His last ODI fifty came in August 2017. Pandey’s worst phase of his career is definitely the year 2018.
He had a mediocre IPL and was only once selected in the playing XI in ODIs. After the Asia Cup, Pandey was once again dropped from the team. His only memorable knock is the century in SCG which came three years ago. The 29-year-old has the natural gift of timing and stroke-making. He just needs to back himself up and reinstate to the team.
