3. Shreyas Iyer
When the management was trying all other batsmen, they didn’t do justice with Iyer. The youngster had an impressive start to his international career. He batted at No. 3 against Sri Lanka and scored two fifties in three innings.
Iyer did nothing wrong in the 5 games he played. However after the South Africa tour last year, Iyer was unexpectedly dropped from the team. With the likes of Dinesh Karthik and Kedar Jadhav performing well, Iyer never made a comeback.
Iyer is currently the skipper of Delhi Capitals in the IPL. He has performed well while batting at No. 4 in IPL. The 24-year-old batsman has a bright future and will definitely get into the national team in the foreseeable future.
