5 Players Who Could Play Their Last World Cup In 2019

4. Lasith Malinga

The right-arm pacer from Sri Lanka is known for his curly hair and unorthodox bowling action. But what makes him deadly is his high speed toe-crushing yorkers.

Since debuting for his country in 2004, Malinga has been an indispensable member to the team. He has taken 318 wickets from 213 ODIs, 101 wickets from 30 Tests and 94 wickets from 70 T20Is.

Since he made his debut, Sri Lanka have appeared in two finals of World Cup and World T20I each. But unfortunately they ended up on the losing side all the four times.

Malinga became the captain in 2014 after replacing Dinesh Chandimal. Later he helped his country win the 2014 T20I World Cup. Even at the age of 35, he is still in good touch. Sri Lanka would like to win this year’s tournament and make it memorable for the veteran.
