1. Eoin Morgan (Ireland and England)

The most successful name in this list is definitely the new World Cup winning captain. Morgan started his international career for Ireland.

He played for Ireland in the U17 and U19 levels. Morgan even captained the Irish team in the 2004 U19 World Cup. He was also part of Ireland team which defeated Pakistan in 2007 World Cup.

However later he started playing county cricket in England and things changed first. Seeing his big-hitting abilities, Morgan was named in the 30-man list for 2010 World T20.

Morgan decided to quit playing for Ireland and it turned out to be the best decision for him and also for England cricket. After the 2015 World Cup group stage exit, Morgan was elected England’s limited overs skipper.

He changed the team completely in just four years time. In 2019 World Cup, after 9969 days, England qualified for the finals. They beat New Zealand and lifted the World Cup trophy for the first time in their history.
