India lost the third ODI in the ongoing series against Australia at Ranchi. The Aussies won the game by 32 runs and lessened the margin of the series by 2-1. But the match will be remembered for a different cause.

The Indian players took to the field wearing camouflaged military caps. Before the start of the game, former captain MS Dhoni distributed the military caps. Dhoni is also the Lieutenant Colonel of the Indian army.

The decision was taken by Dhoni himself. The act was done to show tribute to martyred soldies of Pulwama attack. Even skipper Virat Kohli announced that the match fees will be donated to National Defence Fund (NDF).
