Here is the new annual contracts of the Indian cricketers:

Grade A+

1. Virat Kohli – ₹7 Crores

The Indian skipper has retained his Grade A+ contract from the last year. Kohli leads the Men in Blue in all the three formats and also plays most of the games. He is also the most consistent performer for the entire team.

Kohli has more often than not been the lone warrior of the entire team. He has scripted many memorable wins for Team India. As per the contract Kohli is one of the three players who will get ₹7 crores.

2. Rohit Sharma – ₹7 Crores

The vice-captain of the Indian team in the limited-overs format also falls under ‘Grade A+’ contract. He is also more or less a regular member of the Test team too.

During Kohli’s absence, Rohit led the team to victory in the Asia Cup 2018. Whenever Kohli gets some rest, Rohit is the one who leads the team. He is also expected to take an important role in the World Cup 2019.

3. Jasprit Bumrah – ₹7 Crores

Bumrah has become the main weapon of the Indian bowling department. He made his Test debut early in 2008 and since then has evolved very much. Bumrah has evolved consistently and has become his skipper’s go-to bowler.

The Indian pacer is very effective with the red ball and can swing in both the ways. But when he plays white-ball cricket, his powers level up. One of the several tricks up his sleeve is consistent yorkers.

The opposition batsmen often finds it difficult to play against him. Bumrah gets more unplayable in the death overs. No doubt he is place in the highest salary bracket for his consistent contribution.
